How the pandemic change the way you see the future of work?

  • Build it.

If you had the privilege of working-from-home for the past 18 months, has your employer require you to go back to the office?

How do you feel about it?

  • Redefine it.

What are you doing about it?

There are great sessions coming up this fall. Take a look and register! The Executive Presence and Communication Skills is definitely a must attend event.

June is Immigrant Heritage Month

I am a proud immigrant who came to America in the mid-90s. I came here with a dream, a dream to reunite with my mother.

Immigrants have all different stories and reasons to migrate to a new country. We leave everything behind. We leave our families, our culture and our roots. Some of us reach the American Dream, but some just live by because they struggle to adapt.

It is my hope that more immigrants regardless of where they migrated from, can feel that they are Home, and they belong.

Happy Immigrant Heritage Month, Everyone!

May was mental health month, and as we reached the end of the month, know that people affected by a mental health condition are living with it, every day of the year. So let’s keep sharing awareness.

It’s okay to ask for help. Visit nami.org/help or call 1-800-950-nami (6264).

It’s okay to not be okay.

Equal Pay Day

Check out Forbes Women’s Equity Pay Day & Equity at Work Event held on March 23, 2021. The speakers were great and focused on diversity and inclusion. Some of the speakers were Kelly Grier, US Chair and Managing Partner at EY; and Tina Chen, President and CEO, Time’s Up Foundation.

“Invest you must. The biggest risk is the long-term risk of not putting your money to work at a generous return, not the short-term risk of market volatility”

— John C. Bogle, Founder of the Vanguard Group

As we approach the end of year 2020, don’t forget to review your investment portfolio or savings goals.

  • In the past 25 years, the average investor earned an average return of 6.3%

  • The S&P 500 Index has earned an annual average return of 9.1%

  • On a $10,000 investment made today, and earning an annual rate would result on a nominal profit of $77,000 in 25 years.

Whatever your job situation during these challenging and uncertain times, check to see if you are eligible to get up to 12 weeks of paid leave.
